You will be teaching the class about your project for one 45-minute class period.
You will have about 5-7 class periods to do your research.
In teaching the class, you may use any of the following methods:
imovie
powerpoint
printed handouts
chalk and talk
group work
You will have access to the LCD projector and a copy machine.
(You should probably use more than one teaching method for your teaching project.)
Note: Any video that you find appropriate for your topic must not be longer than 15 minutes.
Everyone in the group should participate in teaching the class. Remember, when teaching the class: try to have some of your lesson student-centered; where you engage students in some group work or something that involves them in the lesson. Do not simply talk to the class for 45 straight minutes. Be creative and use your imagination.
Each group member must also write a 2-3 page paper explaining your topic and its economic importance.
